- Proof of legal permanent residency in the US (greencard). Visas will only be issued to individuals with permanent residency in the United States. Individuals who do not meet these requirements should apply for visa in their country of origin.
- Proof of solid economic status (bank account statements, salary statements, etc.)
- Copy of itinerary. It is recommended NOT to buy your airline ticket until your visa has been approved.
- A personal or company letter stating the purpose of your trip. If you have been invited by the government or a public or private institution, request a letter in Spanish addressed to the Direcci??n General de Migraci??n y Extranjer??a.
Citizens of the following countries will require an Authorized visa (processing time 3 weeks or more): Palestine, Jordan, Libya, Lebanon, Syria, People's Republic of China, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, and Algeria.
